Trinity Church has stood on this corner of North Terrace since 1838… unbroken, through depression, war, and the shape-shifting of an entire city around it. On Sunday 3 May 2026, the congregation held its last service on-site before moving off for two and a half years. We're building behind the church.
Trinity City is a $450 million, 970-bed purpose-built student accommodation tower, rising 31 storeys above three restored heritage buildings and a new modern facility for Trinity Church. When complete, the church returns to a permanent home woven into the ground floor plane of one of Adelaide's tallest residential buildings, with operations uninterrupted from where they started 188 years earlier.
The project was originated by Marlborough Capital and is delivered in joint venture with 1835 Property. UniLodge will operate the asset on completion. Adelaide University is the anchor demand driver, with the new merged institution forming Australia's largest domestic educator from January 2026.
